Audiovision Internet Streaming Service converts recorded newspapers and special interest programs from the Audiovision Radio Reading Service to a Windows Media streaming format, making the information available through the Internet. There is no need for file downloads or waiting for programs to air on the radio reading service. Streaming information is available immediately as soon as it is read, converted, and uploaded. A 24-hour live Audiovision broadcast or stream is also available.
Registration, an Internet connection, an e-mail account, and Windows Media Player are required.
In order to register for the Audiovision Internet Streaming Service, you must first be registered with the NJ State Library Talking Book and Braille Center or one of the cooperating libraries of the National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS).
Once registered, fill out the Internet Streaming Service registration form. A user name and password will be issued to access the Internet Streaming Service.
For further information call (800)792-8322.
